3 Colours
Three colours pass and move in one grid, then in a sequence, then two teams keep the ball from one.

Set up
- Mark a 20 by 20 grid.
- Divide players into 3 teams by bib colour, with a ball per team.
Balls, bibs, cones. Players divided into 3 teams with a ball per team. 20 by 20 grid.
How to play
- Players find a space in their groups and pass the ball between them.
- Begin with static passing to practise technique, then add movement: after a player passes they must move to a different part of the grid.
Make it easier
Make it harder
- Pass and move, but now to a different colour.
- Pass in a sequence: blue to white, white to yellow, yellow to blue.
- Possession, 2 teams against 1. If the third team wins the ball they keep it. Swap roles every 2 minutes.
Three things to say
- Passing and receiving technique.
- Communication, head up and observation.
- Decision making.
Colts habit
Lift each other: call the name of the player you pass to.
Both feet
Pass with the practice foot for a bonus.
Heads up
Find your colour before the ball arrives.
Safety: Keep the area clear of bags and bottles. Stay on your feet, no slide tackles. No heading.
Keeping score: Each child keeps their own count and tries to beat it next time. Nothing is compared between children.
