3 Team Game
Two teams play while the third stands round the outside as wall players for whoever has the ball.

Set up
- Mark a grid of about 40 by 40 with goals.
- Three teams. One team spreads around the outside as wall players.
Balls, bibs, cones and nets. Three teams. Grid about 40 by 40.
How to play
- Two teams play a directional game scoring in one of the two nets.
- The team in possession can use the team on the outside to create an overload. Each team can only attack one side.
- Rotate the wall players after a set time.
Keeping everyone moving
Wall players rotate every 3 minutes so nobody stands outside for long.
Make it easier
Make it harder
- Must play to one side before you can score.
- Must play both sides before you can score.
- Everyone in the team must touch the ball before you can score.
- Can score in any of the 4 goals.
- Limit or increase touches.
- One-touch finish only.
Three things to say
- Timing and weight of passes, first touch.
- Receive with an open body to go forward.
- Movement off the ball to give options.
Colts habit
Lift each other: wall players call names.
Both feet
Wall players return with the practice foot.
Heads up
Look for the wall before you need it.
The Colts change: Wall players rotate every 3 minutes so nobody stands outside for long.
Safety: Keep the area clear of bags and bottles. Stay on your feet, no slide tackles. No heading.
Keeping score: Each child keeps their own count and tries to beat it next time. Nothing is compared between children.
