Pairs push palm to palm, sword fight and shoulder tag to build balance and strength.

Set up
- Players pair up and find a space in the grid.

How to play
- Players go palm to palm and push to unbalance each other.
- Change stance after each go: wide stance, feet together, one foot behind the other, one foot.
Make it easier
Make it harder
- Lock hands with your partner and try to poke them in the shoulder with your index finger (sword fight).
- Partnered up, try to touch your partner's shoulder. You get a point every time.
- Partnered up, try to touch your partner's knee. You get a point every time.
- In pairs, each hold a ball under your arm and your partner tries to knock it out.

Work hard, and change partners every round.

Try the one-foot stance on each leg.
Heads up
Watch your partner's hands.
Safety: Pair children of a similar size. Palms only, no grabbing or shoving. Soft ground.
Keeping score: Each child keeps their own count and tries to beat it next time. Nothing is compared between children.
