Triangle Passing
Pass into a player in a triangle, who takes a touch out of a different side, then swap.

Set up
- Set up small cone triangles inside a 20 by 20 grid.
- One player stands in each triangle. The other players have a ball each.
Balls and cones. Triangles set up within a 20 by 20 grid.
How to play
- A player with a ball passes to a player in a triangle. They take a touch and leave the triangle from a different side than the ball came in.
- The passer replaces the player in the triangle.
Make it easier
Make it harder
- The receiver must use the inside of the foot to take a touch.
- The receiver must use the outside of the foot to take a touch.
- Right or left foot only for pass and touch.
Three things to say
- Passing and receiving technique.
- Head up and observation.
- Movement and angles to receive the ball.
Colts habit
Work hard: dribble to a new triangle straight away.
Both feet
Take the touch with the practice foot.
Heads up
Pick your exit side before the ball arrives.
Safety: Keep the area clear of bags and bottles. Stay on your feet, no slide tackles. No heading.
Keeping score: Each child keeps their own count and tries to beat it next time. Nothing is compared between children.
