Wolf Pack at Home: set-up G

A square of four shoes: you dribble, and two wolves hunt together, one chasing the ball and one blocking the way out.

Set up

  • Mark a square of about six big steps with four shoes.
  • One person dribbles inside the square. The other two are the wolf pack.

Garden or park. A square of about six big steps. Needs three people.

How to play

  • Someone shouts Hunt! and counts to ten out loud.
  • The wolves work together: one chases the ball, the other blocks the way out.
  • They try to stop the ball with a sole before ten.
  • Swap so everyone has a go at dribbling.

Make it easier

  • Count to fifteen.
  • The dribbler walks.

Make it harder, step by step

  1. Count to seven.
  2. Count to seven, and the wolves must pass to each other after winning it.

Three things to say

  • One chases, one blocks.
  • Talk: I'll go, you cover!
  • Stay on your feet and use your sole.

Words that work: "What a wolf pack!", "Great teamwork!", "Brilliant call to your partner!"
