Set up
- Mark two pitches side by side.
- At each end, mark a 4 m end zone with discs.
- Teams of 3 or 4 wear bibs.
- Spare balls sit at the sidelines.
3v3 or 4v4 on two pitches. 20 m by 30 m each, with a 4 m end zone at each end.
How to play
- Each team attacks one end zone.
- Score by passing to a teammate who stops the ball inside the end zone.
- Passer and receiver both shout Touchdown! and the team gets one point.
- Players cannot dribble into the end zone.
- After a point, the other team starts with a pass from their own end.
Keeping everyone moving
Small teams, two pitches, spare balls at the side and a quick restart. Nobody is out.
Make it easier
- Deeper end zones.
- A free player joins whichever team has the ball.
Make it harder
- The receiver must be moving into the zone.
- Two touches maximum in the attacking half.
Three things to say
- Time the run into the zone.
- Pass ahead of the runner.
- Receive under control.
